The bodies of governance, made part of the Consortium, are the General Meeting of the members, and a management body – the Steering Committee. The president heads the Steering Committee. None of them is paid; they all work on the volunteer basis.

The president of the Cam-eIFL Consortium is responsible for providing leadership in managing all the work of the Consortium and Vice Presidents assist the President in having his duties carried out (in the absence of the President). The members help make decision.
